Abstract: Cummins entered China in 1975 and will mark its 50th anniversary in the country in 2025. Over the past half-century, it has established a robust R＆D network through in-depth cooperation with local enterprises. The Chinese R＆D team has made breakthroughs in National VI emission technology, which has been fed back to support global product upgrades. Its innovations in the new energy sector have also been promoted overseas. Leveraging China’s advantage as a "super testing ground" for diverse operating conditions, Cummins is now stepping up efforts in zero-carbon technology development. It has become a model for the localization of multinational corporations and a driving force behind the advancement of China’s commercial vehicle industry.
