Abstract:
To achieve lean production of automobiles, it is necessary to rationally arrange the workshop space layout, solve problems such as long material handling routes, unreasonable settings of equipment and material storage areas, and avoid issues like serious backlogs of work-in-progress in processes, long production cycles, and low space utilization. In view of this, this paper will combine the requirements of process layout in automobile assembly workshops under lean production, and propose corresponding standardized layout design strategies to improve the rational utilization of workshop space, reduce space waste, and enhance mechanical production efficiency.
