Abstract:
Based on the structural characteristics of forging technology, forged wheels for commercial vehicle can be widely used in different transportation scenarios. Compared with casting technology, forged wheels perform well in heavy-duty, long-distance transportation and other working conditions due to their advantages of high strength and toughness. Studying the influence of forging process parameters on the performance of wheels, optimizing forging temperature, deformation, and other parameters can significantly improve the mechanical properties of wheels. This article focuses on steel forged wheels and analyzes the adaptation schemes of forged wheels for commercial vehicle in different usage environments, and proposed corresponding selection suggestions for complex road conditions, harsh weather conditions, and other conditions. Explored the influence of factors such as load distribution and connection method on the service life of forged wheels for commercial vehicle during installation and application, and proposed reasonable maintenance and installation improvement measures. Finally, it is pointed out that lightweight, energy-saving, and intelligent are the main development trends for commercial vehicle wheels in the future.
